Credit Report (or Credit File)
A report held by a credit reporting agency which details your personal and financial history, including any payment defaults, collections or judgments you may have had in the last 5 years. Any bankruptcies registered are noted for 7 years.
Most lenders will require a copy of this report to determine your credit worthiness.
